Now Open to Retail and Fleet Customers
Boleyn Recovery & Fleet Services is pleased to announce that our new Codham Hall depot is now taking on retail and commercial customers, bringing our expanding range of vehicle maintenance, testing, roadside and recovery services to an ideally positioned location close to the A127 and M25.
The new depot represents a significant investment in Boleyn’s fleet support capabilities and gives operators across Essex, East London and the surrounding area another option for keeping their vehicles maintained, compliant and on the road.
Full Fleet Workshop Facilities
Codham has been developed as a comprehensive commercial vehicle and fleet workshop, capable of supporting everything from cars and vans through to HGVs and specialist commercial vehicles.
Services available from the depot include:

- Preventative Maintenance Inspections (PMIs)
- DVSA-compliant roller brake testing

Our workshop facilities allow vehicles to be properly inspected and maintained in a controlled environment, helping operators manage preventative maintenance and minimise unexpected downtime.
Roller Brake Testing for Commercial Vehicles
One of the key services available at Codham is roller brake testing.
Effective brake performance monitoring is an important part of commercial vehicle maintenance and operator compliance. Our facilities allow fleet operators to incorporate regular brake performance testing into their planned maintenance schedules rather than waiting until an annual test.
Customers can contact our team to arrange standalone roller brake tests or incorporate brake testing into a wider PMI, service or maintenance visit.
Recovery Satellite Depot
Codham also operates as a satellite base for Boleyn’s recovery operation, strengthening our coverage around the M25, A127, Essex and the surrounding strategic road network.
Our recovery operation supports cars, vans, HGVs, buses, coaches and specialist commercial vehicles, with capabilities ranging from roadside assistance through to heavy and specialist recovery.
Having recovery resources positioned at Codham enables us to further strengthen our response capability while supporting customers operating throughout Essex and into London.
Mobile Service Van Fleet
Not every repair needs to come into the workshop.
Our mobile service van fleet provides roadside and on-site mechanical support, allowing many defects to be diagnosed and repaired at a customer’s premises or at the roadside.
Where a vehicle cannot be repaired safely on site, our recovery operation can bring it into one of our workshops for further investigation and repair – providing customers with a joined-up service from initial breakdown through to getting the vehicle back into operation.
Commercial Vehicle Storage
The Codham facility also provides secure vehicle storage, particularly useful for fleet operators, recovery customers and businesses requiring temporary space for commercial vehicles.
Combined with our recovery and workshop capabilities, this allows vehicles to be recovered directly into our care, stored where necessary and subsequently inspected or repaired without involving multiple suppliers.
One Location, More Fleet Support
The aim of Codham is simple: to provide operators with more of the services they need from one experienced fleet partner.
A vehicle can come to us for an inspection, roller brake test, service or repair. If it breaks down, our roadside team can attend it. If it cannot be repaired at the roadside, our recovery fleet can recover it. Once at our depot, our workshop team can diagnose the fault, carry out the repair and get the vehicle back into service.
For fleet operators, that means fewer suppliers to manage and one point of contact for maintenance, compliance, roadside assistance and recovery.

The location of our Codham depot gives Boleyn an excellent operational base for customers travelling through Essex and the M25 corridor, as well as businesses based throughout the surrounding area.
